What we earn, per brand.
We publish this because you should know. Every product we recommend earns us a commission somewhere between 3% and 12% — or, for certain brands we include deliberately, nothing at all. Here are the rates as of this quarter.
You pay the same price whether you buy through our links or not. Commissions come out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet. We earn nothing extra by recommending pricier products, and one in five products we recommend earns us nothing at all.
Why this matters: a lot of people assume affiliate commissions are a surcharge. They aren't. This is how almost every recommendation site on the internet makes money — most just don't tell you about it.
Per-brand rates coming soon
We're still finalizing affiliate program approvals. Once each program is approved, we'll publish the exact rate we earn per brand — every brand we recommend, every network we work with, updated quarterly.
What we can tell you now: commissions will fall between 3% and 12%, depending on the brand and network. At least one in every five products we recommend will be non-affiliate — meaning we earn nothing if you buy it. The non-affiliate brands include CeraVe, Cetaphil, Vanicream, Bioderma, Avène, and Aquaphor, among others — excellent products we recommend often when the right answer for someone's skin is a simple drugstore staple, not a premium active.
How this works
When you click a product link on a recommendation page, you're routed to the brand's store (or Amazon, Target, or the relevant retailer) through an affiliate tracking link. If you make a purchase within the network's cookie window — typically 24 hours for Amazon, 30–90 days for direct brand programs — we receive a commission on that purchase. The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or go to the brand directly.
As an Amazon Associate, evenskin.ai earns from qualifying purchases. Where Amazon is the retailer for a recommended product, our commission is paid by Amazon under the terms of the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (US Store ID: evenskin03-20). This relationship does not affect the price you pay or the products our AI recommends — see our full affiliate disclosure on the legal page for details.
Why some brands are non-affiliate
CeraVe, Cetaphil, Vanicream, Bioderma, Avène, and Aquaphor are excellent products sold in drugstores and large retailers that either don't run affiliate programs at meaningful rates, or where we've deliberately chosen not to participate. We recommend them often anyway — usually when the right answer for someone's skin is a simple, boring, sub-$20 drugstore product rather than a premium active. The rule: at least one in every five recommendations is non-affiliate.
What we will never do
- Accept sponsorship, paid placement, or featured-position fees from any brand
- Adjust our AI's recommendations based on commission rate
- Remove brands from our catalog because they stopped paying commissions, or add them because they started
- Hide this page or make it hard to find
